For those who may decry modern technology and suggest that it has pushed people apart into worlds of digital isolation, it is quite clear that travel and holidays is not simply on the rise, but eclipsing the holiday experiences of former generations.
A few clicks of the mouse and we have explored regions of the world in which we have an interest, and booked a holiday. A short and easy flight later and we are able to enjoy the experience for ourselves.
As internet technology and more diverse media broadcasting has opened our eyes to the fascinating opportunities on offer, so we have begun to take increasing advantage of these chances, and today more of our holidays are abroad, and more of our travel is oriented towards learning more about the world in which modern technology has generated a much greater awareness.
